How to Spend Three Days in Sedona
Day one of your three days in Sedona consists of some of our favorite activities and attractions in the area. Start of your day with a Pink Jeep Tour through the canyons and foothills of the gorgeous red rock scenery. It’s one of the best ways to effortlessly get a lay of the land. Next, discover some local history dating back hundreds of years. You can view architectural icons from early 12th and 13th-century Indian tribes at the Palatki and Honanki Heritage sites. The Chapel of the Holy Cross offers a contrast to the historic pueblo dwellings with its stunning showcase of cutting-edge, mid-20th century architecture. If you want to view one of the best-preserved cliff dwellings in North America, Montezuma Castle needs to be on your Sedona itinerary! Finish off your day with a drive up to Airport Mesa, which is also a Sedona vortex, to watch the sunset.
We recommend doing a little more outdoor exploring mixed with some wine tasting on day two of your three days in Sedona. Little-known Arizona wine country is home to some incredible gems, especially along the Verde Valley Wine Trail. From vineyards to charming tasting rooms, the small towns that dot the trail offer a glimpse at local life. Next, stop by Slide Rock State Park to enjoy a natural rock waterslide that both adults and kids will love. Cap off your day with an early dinner at Cucina Rustica before heading back to your luxury rental to watch the beautiful night sky.
Spend your last day soaking in tremendous views and experiencing the thriving local arts culture. Take a hot air balloon ride and watch the sunrise over the beautiful red rocks. Next, spend some time hanging out in town and discover the rich local art tradition at Tlaquepaque. Finish off your three days in Sedona by enjoying dinner at Dahl & Diluca.
